Some Suwon residents received Jinan cultural and heritage souvenirs during the event. “These pieces are so beautiful and artistically captivating—I love them,” said Jeon So-bong, a local visitor. “Jinan looks like a beautiful city. I’d love to visit someday, see the springs, and try the food.”
Since officially establishing sister-city ties in 1993, Jinan and Suwon have maintained long-standing cooperation in culture, education, and trade. This event helped deepen Suwon citizens’ understanding of Jinan’s city image and cultural heritage, further advancing people-to-people exchanges between the two cities.
This experience day was part of the broader “Opportunities in China, Colorful Shandong” initiative to promote Chinese culture abroad. As the campaign continues, more cities from Shandong are set to make their mark on the international stage.
